Kukatpally Summer Blues and Power cuts et all

Its Official ?
Power cuts are back with a bang. And be pretty reassured that even with elections around the corner , the government cannot avoid the same. The politics of our most beloved Chief Minister have assured that even the Mighty Godavari River is drying up for a change.

We can safely predict that the demand for Water Tankers, Inverters, and Beer for guzzlers would rise to exponential proportions this summer. All Congress brethren related to the above fields of business ,can start smiling in glee.

Cane sugar, cooldrinks, mineral water ( Municipal Water in Sachets).
Also increased sales for mosquito repellants and novalgin, saridon and other headache tablets.
All dhobis can start searching for water holes, that means there would be increased sales of itchguard and Jalim Lotion for (Dhobis itch)

Rythu bazaar rates would avrage something like 40 Rs. per Kg for all vagetables.Rice is already 33 Rupees a Kg right now.Aint that lovely.Good quality edible oil is already around 70 Rs a litre.

Watch out dears. If you have a pla let us all know too.

By the way KPHB Colony had power cuts from 2.00 pm to 4.00pm everyday since a month or more. The timings have changed today i think , i lasted from 12.00pm to 1.30 pm.In case you know more details related to the disruptions, do leave us a comment.

MMTS Trains. Callous Railway Authorities

Sunday and time to destress.Friends meeting at begumpet for a breakfast and a short stroll on Begumpet, Umanagar street , cross the railway track at hussain sagar junction onto neckalce road, a walk back and then back to respective residences.

This week was my time to drive to the MMTS railway station Park my car in HITEC city railway stations parking lot ( Where you have the paid parking facility 5 .00Rs. for the first 3 hours ),buying a ticket to Begumpet 3.00 Rs. see a train whizz past me even as i bouht the ticket .ANd then waiting till 11.20 A.M to finally hear from the Railway authorities on the Public addres system, that an accident at Borabanda cauases trains to be cancelled or delayed.

That doesnt seem much ,unless you were travelling with your entire family including Old aged parents, and small infants etc etc,and had to reach secunderabad to catch a long distance train.Thatas whathappened in front of me.The poor fellas dint understand where to run. They were too many to be given alift by yours truly to the Bus Stand or Auto Stand. It was really sickening to see the Official in the counter NOT at al bothered.

I am sure the people must have missed their train. So who is responsible for the train tickets loss for no fault of theirs? THe MMTS officials could have made the announcement much before the delay .AND yes they dont seem to be worried,to refund the money .I heard the bugger in the counter saying that the ticket was only three rupees, so why do you have to worry about the refund?
That raises a question , if a local train is cancelled or delayed, should there be a refund of ticket charges.
By the way , the parking fees was also collected in full.
